Okay everyone!!! Hope everyone's new year is kicking off good in 2017!!! I've got some changes too as I'll be moving to Amsterdam this month. I assure you however I'll be racing in Europe like a madman however!! Those races aren't on the site.
We have grown to over 20 athletes across the globe. It's amazing!
No team in the world has more athletes and no team in the world races more than we do.... That's our tagline....
For 2017 we will have a team at Primal Quest and now it looks like close to 40 races (totally dependent on racer availability)

If your name is in BLUE then you have committed to a race. We will strive to get you teammates so we can participate and run that race. That also becomes part of your responsibility. Find other teammates, network with the folks here (all emails attached).
If your name is in YELLOW that means you've expressed an interest and possibility in that race. Let's get you confirmed.
* HoneyStinger has confirmed pro discount and sponsorship in 2017. 37% off all products. These are great products and I've used them extensively. Great nutrition. Let me know if you'd like to order some of these. I can provide a team code. I'm not sure how many of us they'll let on the discount but I can always order if you want some.
* Mountain Hardwear remains as a sponsor in 2017. For this I must do all ordering but I can ship it to your house. Typical deals are 30-50% off retail. Again great gear.
* We're pursuing a partnership with CycleBeam in 2017 and/or a company called Bright Eyes. Both are great lights and DJ and Bait used the Bright Eyes in the Nationals.
* I'm looking for help in driving the social media platform. Team Commie Bar has a twitter account, FB page, and blogsite. Let me know if you'd be up for helping out. I can always add admins that can post on our behalf. Some of you guys/gals would be great at this.
* If you're not part of the Adventure Racing Discussion Group on Facebook, it's a great source of information and news. I really enjoy reading it.

* USARA has named us the #1 Adventure Racing Team in Maryland.... It sounds kinda funny but actually there are quite a few teams in MD including Caleva Adventures and Adventure Addicts. Great to hear this bit of news.
* One thing that I'd love to do is to have an official GET TOGETHER of all Team Commie Bar racers. Pick a weekend and get everyone together. Of course we would do nutso stuff and bike and run our butts off. And of course I imagine there would be some beer that was consumed.
Send me a note if you'd be interested in something like this. It would be great to organize around a race weekend but I'd like to hear from you.
* One thing we need to talk about is getting new shirts and logos for 2017. Part of the brand is using these shirts so I'd like some help or advise in how best to do.
