Turns...The shocking news is that the PACK IS BACK. Turns out the kayakers got the pack to the police, and I was able to track it down.<br /><br />By the way a few of my favorite quotes that will make me laugh for a long time:<br /> 1) "I just remembered the integrated fly in my pack."<br /> 2) "Todd could you lean my pack up so it doesn't get too wet."<br /> 3) "The red trail?!? You're no where near the red trail." (must be recited in female brogue for full effect)<br /> 4) "It's an f'in skunk! What are you stupid?"<br /><br /> Thanks for carrying the load so much on the navigating. I've never ran into such a string of events that fried me so badly. It was nice to be able to just follow for a bunch of hours when I was in no shape to actually think. It was also nice that Kirk was able to navigate later so you could get a break overnight early Sunday morning.<br /><br />Personally it was one of the biggest physical gut checks I've ever faced.
